Formed in 1912, The Fresno Madera Dental Society (FMDS) is the first choice for local dentists as a relevant and trusted source of information. As a member of the tripartite, you have access to all benefits of the ADA, CDA and FMDS.

- Continuing education: Mandatory Infection Control, OSHA, CA Dental Practice Act and HIPAA courses offered every winter at the CCDC. Additional CE courses offered throughout the year. In-person and webinars.
- Social events: Networking and socializing with peers at socials such as An Evening Under the Stars at the Downing Planetarium.
- Referral services: FMDS staff refers incoming calls from the public to Member’s offices for dental services on a rotating basis.
- Community Health Outreach events such as Veterans Smile Day and the recent CA CareForce event at the Fresno Fairgrounds.
- BLS/CPR renewal courses offered at the FMDS business office quarterly.

Members
Members of the Fresno Madera Dental Society are also members of the California Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association. The tripartite system comprises a strong network of member dentists that all work together to promote best practices to serve their patients and the community. CDA and ADA advocate for dentists and their businesses and provide a robust library of information to assist dentists with their personal and professional lives. Through CDA, members have exclusive access to professional liability, disability, worker’s comp and other insurance packages through TDIC.
The Fresno Madera Dental Society is comprised of 500+ dentists with over 70% of the local market share. We are a diverse group of individuals and welcome new members. Our members are dedicated to the profession of dentistry and to serving the public’s oral health needs. We support one another with continuing education, resources, and advocacy.
